1 BEFORE THE TEACHER STANDARDS AND PRACTICES COMMISSION ' OF THE STATE OF OREGON 3 In the Matter of the ) STIPULATION OF FACTS 4 Teaching License of ) AND 5 TAMMIE ANN SNYDER ) ORDER OF REPRIMAND 6 On or about November 6, 2006, the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission 7 (Commission) received a report from the McMinnville School District that Mrs. Snyder sewed 8 without proper Iicensure from January 2006 until August of 2006. 9 Mrs. Snyder fully cooperated with the Commission's investigation. After review of the 10 matters alleged, Mrs. Snyder and the Executive Director agree that their respective interests, 11 together with the public interest, are best served by a stipulation to certain facts and a public 12 reprimand. 13 This Order sets forth the facts upon which the parties have agreed and the sanction to 14 be imposed. Mrs. Snyder stipulates that there are sufficient facts contained in the . Commission’s files and records to support the findings of fact and conclusion of law set forth 16 below. ln entering into this stipulation, Mrs. Snyder waives the right to a hearing to contest the 17 findings of fact, conclusion of law and order set forth below. 18 This stipulation is contingent upon approval and adoption of the Order by the 19 Commission. If the Commission does not adopt this Order, neither Mrs. Snyder nor the 20 Commission are bound by these Stipulations, and Mrs. Snyder retains all rights to a hearing on 21 the allegations. 22 STIPULATION OF FACTS 23 1. Mrs. Snyder holds an Oregon teaching license, issued November 2006, which expires 24 January 11, 2010, with a Basic Elementary endorsement. 25 2. Mrs. Snyder failed to file for renewal of her license in January of 2006. 26 3. Mrs. Snyder served with the McMinnville School District from January 2006 through . This misconduct constitutes Gross Neglect of Duty. The 11 Commission's authority to impose discipline in this matter is based upon ORS 342.175. 12 ORDER 13 The Commission hereby adopts the above findings of fact and imposes a Public 14 Reprimand upon the Licensure of Tammie Snyder.
