In the Matter of the ) STIPULATION OF FACTS 4 Teaching License of ) AND ORDER REVOKING RIGHT 5 GARY ROBERT LOGOSZ ) TO REINSTATE LICENSE 6 ) 7 On May 2, 1997, the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission informed Gary Robert 8 Logosz that it possessed evidence of possible violations of Standards for Competent and 9 Ethical Performance of Oregon Educators to warrant a hearing regarding surrender of his 10 Idaho Teaching License. Logosz requested an opportunity to stipulate on the allegations and ll to surrender his right to apply for reinstatement of his Oregon Teaching License which 12 expired on October 7, 1994. The parties have agreed that their respective interest and the l3 interests of the State are best served by a Stipulation of Facts and Order of Revocation of l4 Logosz’s right to reinstate his Oregon Teaching License as set forth below. 15 FINDINGS OF FACT l6 1. Gary Robert Logosz held an Oregon Emergency Teaching License endorsed in social l7 studies and valid from October 7, 1992 to October 7, 1994. 18 2. Logosz expressly and unequivocally agrees that he will never apply for reinstatement l9 of State of Oregon teaching credentials. k “t 3. Both parties agree that L0gosz’s agreement not t0 seek teaching certification, as set 21 forth above, in no way constitutes an admission or determination of any wrongdoing, 22 misconduct or other acts or omissions that would constitute a violation of the laws and 23 regulations applicable to teachers in the State of Oregon. 24 4. The Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission has received report of a 25 possible, though unproven allegation of unprofessional conduct on the part of Logosz, 26 that allegedly occurred in Mindoka County in the State of Idaho that, if proven, would 27 result in denial of any request for reinstatement of teaching credentials that Logosz 28 might submit. 29 5. This Stipulation will become a part of Logosz’s licensure file with the State of 30 Oregon’s Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. 31 6. Logosz voluntarily waives his right to submit evidence or otherwise contest any claims 32 or allegations that may have been subject to investigation by the Commission. 33 7. Both parties hereby agree that this matter is hereby finally concluded and that the 34 record, as it stands now, is complete and no further investigation will take place. Logosz voluntarily waives his right to submit evidence or otherwise contest any claims or allegations pertaining 18 to these incidents. 19 CONCLUSIONS OF LAW 2O Under ORS 342.175 through 190 the Commission may deny reinstatement of a license for 21 five years afler the date of expiration if the Commission has evidence that the educator has 22 violated Standards for Competent and Ethical Performance of Oregon Educators. 23 ORDER 24 The Commission revokes the right of Gary Robert Logosz to reinstate his Oregon Teaching 25 License endorsed for social studies valid from October 7, 1992 to October 7, 1994. .
