Thomas Ray Iverson, filed in the 13 Circuit Court for Washington County case #COOO523CR (DA 00-2256) and . 14 #C0001620R (DA 99-11242). I‘ 15 After a review of the matters alleged, Thomas Ray Iverson and the Commission 16 agree that their respective interests, together with the public interest, are best served by 17 a stipulation to certain facts and the revocation of Thomas Ray lverson’s right to apply 18 for a teaching license. The Commission will revoke the Mr. lverson’s right to apply for 19 an Oregon Teaching License. This Order sets forth the facts upon which the parties 20 have agreed and the sanction to be imposed. In entering into this stipulation, Thomas 21 Ray Iverson waives the right to a hearing to contest the findings of fact, conclusion of 22 law and order set forth below. This stipulation is contingent on approval and adoption of 23 this order by the Commission. lfthe Commission does not adopt this stipulation and 24 order, neither Mr. Iverson nor the Commission shall be bound by the stipulation, and Mr. 25 Iverson shall retain all rights to a hearing. TSPC issued an Initial Teaching License to Thomas Ray Iverson on May 24, 1994. 3 That license expired on February 28, 2000. 4 2. On or about February 15, 2001, Thomas Ray Iverson was convicted of nine counts 5 of ORS 163.427, Sex Abuse in the First Degree, in the Circuit Court of the State of a Oregon for Washington County. 7 3. The Judgment of Conviction and Sentencing Orders, Washington County Court case 8 numbers C000162CR (DA 99-11343) and 0000523CR (DA 00-2256), were entered 9 on or about March 6, 2001. The Court sentenced Iverson to two concurrent 75 10 month prison terms and ordered a money judgment of $6210.00 in case number 11 CCOOO5230R . In case number CCOOO1620R Iverson was ordered to serve one 12 consecutive 75 month sentence and six concurrent 75 month sentences and was .13 ordered to pay a money judgment of $14, 235.00. 14 ' CONCLUSIONS 0F LAW 15 Thomas Ray Iverson was convicted 9 counts of ORS. 163.427, Sexual Abuse in 16 the First Degree.
